Naturaleza e Historias del Gran Chaco Gualamba
We hope that this book, which brings together many stories that link the human adventure in the Gran Chaco and its environment, will be a significant contribution to advancing the knowledge and appreciation of this region.
Under the authorship and editorial coordination of Alejandro D. Brown and Daniel Ramadori, the book is part of the Pilcomayo Trinacional project: Shared Management Area or "Chaco Trinational Initiative," funded by the European Union (EU) and the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM). This ensures the integration and development of cross-border actions that value these sites and, in turn, provided the origin and motivation to gather experiences, images, and stories that populate this work.
"Nature and Stories of the Gran Chaco Gualamba" not only promotes our efforts in the Gran Chaco but mainly features women and men who, through their sacrifices and experiences, have contributed to the recognition, increased knowledge, and, hopefully, a better-protected Gran Chaco in the future.
