The first edition of “Arboles rioplatenses” was in 1999 (with a reprint in 2004). With the passage of time the editions were sold out and were highly requested by the public related to Nature. It is for this reason that, with great emotion, we present a new, improved and revised edition of this work. Much of the Photography has been redone and scientific names updated.

Árboles Rioplatenses is a bilingual edition that includes the most frequent native and naturalized tree species in the area of influence of the River Plate, that is, the Paraná delta region, Martín García Island and the banks of La Plata, both in Argentina and Uruguay. 50 species of trees are described, their uses, geographical distribution, ecology, scientific and common names (in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Guaraní). The texts and photographic material were prepared by an interdisciplinary group of specialists to offer a comprehensive vision of the arboreal flora of the River Plate region. We hope this book will be a contribution for fans, students, professionals and the general public.

300 pp / Size 20 x 12 x 1 / Editorial Lola / Bilingual / Revisited por Julio A. Hurrel y Pablo A. Cabanillas
